Artists like Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Cardi B, Big Sean, Lil Uzi Vert, XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD all rose to prominence in this decade. In the decade movements like Trap music, Cloud rap, Drill music, and Emo hip hop became mainstream.
